亞美癌症關懷服務醫療法律常識講座
十一月八日(星期六)上午十㸃到十二點亞美癌症關懷服務(AACCS)和達拉斯華人活動中心(DCCC)將在活動中心合辧本年度的醫療法律常識講座。這個講座分三部分進行。 10:00 – 10:30 病患照顧者需知 (Care Giver Overview) 由 Mr. Richard Anastasi 主講，有中文翻譯。 10:30 – 11:00 安寧醫療和居家䕶理 (Hospice Care and Home Care) 由李慧芳護士主講。 11:00 – 12:00 介紹生前醫療指示文件包括： 1. 生前醫療意願書 (Living Will or Directive to Physician), 這分文件是讓醫院或醫生知道當你不冶時，是否要繼續靠人工系統來維持個人的生命。 2. 醫療委託書( Medical Power of Attorney), 這分文件是在個人神智清醒時，指定一個或數個醫療代理人。代理人(委託人）可以為你在你無法為自己做醫療決定時，替你做決定。 3. 放棄急救意願書 (DNR, Out of Hospital-Do Not Resuscitate). 姚麗珠律師將講解這些文件的重要性，及如何訂立生前醫療指示文件。並當場為有需要的聽眾準備必要的文件。 當天下午華人活動中心將舉辦義診: 1:00 – […]
